Don J. Snyder, a former Fellow at the Iowa Writer's Workshop, and a James Michener
Fellow, offers instruction in Screenwriting, the Novel, and the Memoir. He has taught
Fiction Writing, Nonfiction Prose, and Screenwriting at Colgate University, Colby College,
The University of Maine, and Columbia College. He is the author of five novels published
by Alfred A. Knopf, Random House, Doubleday and Simon & Schuster. Two memoirs
published by Little Brown and Alfred A. Knopf. And the screenplay, “Fallen Angel” a
Hallmark Hall of Fame Christmas movie starring Gary Sinise which won the highest
